Smartbox – Trade Marketing Manager
The Trade Marketing Manager has a key position in the Danish and Swedish business and will also be a part of the Danish Management Team. The TM role is the link between the local sales organizations in DK and SE and the HQ marketing functions in Dublin and Paris. The role is very operational and hands-on.
The overall objective is to develop and implement an instore strategy that supports the overall business objectives and strategy. The business is very much data driven and “Big Data” and “Data Driven Decision Management” is key and starting point is the Trade Marketing function.
- Merchandising strategy (permanent and temporary visibility in-store) according to customer segmentation and analysis.
- Campaign planning and execution: In-store solutions, display configurations, tailor made solutions
- Cooperation with HQ functions: Product Development and Brand Activation teams
- Category management, assortment analysis, planogram optimization
- Implementation of HQ activations
- Agency briefing, sales promoters, customer events
- Build best-practice cases and trade stories
- Presenting at various meetings. From sales meetings to senior management meetings
- Stock management of displays and marketing material — budget responsible
- Responsible for marketing budget, forecast and follow up
- Supporting Country Manager with ad‐hoc analyses, external and internal presentations
- Direct reports: 1 Marketing Coordinator and ad hoc student workers
- Travel: 10 days/year
- A clearly proven result driven background
- Ideally the candidate has minimum 3-5 years of experience from similar position within the FMCG
- B.Sc. (HD) or M.Sc. in Business Administration
- Fluent in Danish and English – both verbal and written
