Strong manager with solid business acumen 
Skyways Technics A/S is searching for a skillful Site Manager, who can develop and lead the maintenance activities and staff in Billund. The Site Manager is part of the production management group, and has as such great impact on the future business strategy for the hangar facilities in Billund. 

The position

Your main responsibility is to effective manage all aspects of Skyways Technics’ aircraft maintenance in Billund. You will manage 15-20 highly qualified and committed mechanics, and you will ensure a high productivity and quality of maintenance. You will also ensure that the maintenance scheduling and execution meet the deadline with strong focus on cost control and customer satisfaction. 
It is important that you thrive on long-term plans while also managing to deal with sudden challenges.  
You communicate effortlessly at all levels of the organization. You are commercial and business minded, and you constantly strive to optimize the current business and processes. 
Your responsibilities will also include: 
  • Daily manager for maintenance; Line, Base & workshops (2-3 docks)  
  • Close collaboration with Line/Base/Workshop Maintenance and Technical Services Manager in Sonderborg 
  • Design and implement the future strategy for the Billund hangar in collaboration with Skyways Technics management 
  • Ensure that maintenance is performed in accordance with internal guidelines and in accordance with legal and internal quality requirements 
  • Enhance the cooperation with current and potential business partners in Billund. 

The candidate

You have solid managerial experience, and you thrive and excel in the role. Ideally, you have well documented work experience with maintenance production in the aviation industry. Alternatively, you hold experience from the wind, shipping or automotive industry. 
As a person, you are outgoing, action-oriented and driven by results. As a manager, you foster a work environment of trust and respect.  
You have the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing requirements and priorities, but never compromise on quality. æYou have strong IT skills, and you are fluent in English.
