Do you have experience with project management? Are you structured and capable of coordinating complex sales processes across various departments with multiple stakeholders? Do you thrive in a dynamic, international environment?
You will face the customers as a ‘team of two’ with the Senior Sales Manager throughout the entire sales process. You will be the head of negotiations of all aspects related to construction, technical, HSE and QA in the Turbine Supply Agreement with support from relevant subject matter experts.
To ensure an attractive but risk-balanced offer, you will lead the technical part of the bidding process. It is extremely important that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to build strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for:
- Be the first-point-of-contact for the Bid Management department on technical matters.
- Response to construction, technical, HSE and QA issues.
- Set new standards for managing planning, follow up and report progress internally across all tracks involved in the negotiation of the Turbines Supply Agreement.
- Align construction, technical, HSE and QA customer requirements, risk assessment and mitigation with internal stakeholders.
- Secure compliance with MHI Vestas’ internal processes and guidelines.
You will be part of the Sales Team Europe, however, work in other regions can happen from time to time. The primary work location will be Hamburg – Germany, and you should expect approx. 50 travel days per year.
We expect that you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering. In addition, you are an experienced senior technical professional with at least 5 years of professional and project management experience, preferably within the wind energy, power plants, infrastructure or construction industry.
You understand the technical complexities of offshore wind projects as well as the contractual mechanisms, and you have previously been involved on the technical side in negotiations of large complex projects.
As a person, you have excellent communication and networking skills. You thrive within project management, and you can assess and articulate the consequence of a technical solution from a commercial and contractual point of view.
You are a team player who can liaise with technical subject matter experts, both internally and externally. You have technical expertise and commercial business insight. If you have experience with Yellow FIDIC Book it would be a bonus.
