We are currently recruiting a Strategic Marketing & Sustainability Manager to join the Regional Strategic Marketing team.

By reference to the Strategic Marketing Director, you will be part of a regional team based out of offices in either Brøndby or Hobro, Denmark.

The position

As Strategic Marketing & Sustainability Manager your key responsibilities will among others be to:

  • Be part of driving strategic marketing in the region to strengthen the commercial organization and further grow the business
  • Drive market intelligence by establishing regular reporting and analyses on market development
  • Drive the sustainability agenda in Knauf Northern Europe from a commercial point of view incl. market offerings and go-to-market approaches
  • Support in definition of a coherent strategy for sustainability in Northern Europe in line with the Knauf Group approach and drive the implementation across the countries in the region
  • Establish regular reporting on progress on sustainability
  • Guide the organization through the business transformation around commercial excellence and sustainability by stakeholder and change management

The role’s regional scope is Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany and therefore a certain level of international travel will be expected. Depending on the activity there will be approximately 40 days of travel per year.

Your background

To be successful in this position you must be business oriented and commercially- strong. You are a proactive, solution-, and result-oriented team player with strong communication skills. You work in a structured way with an eye for both details and deadlines. You are analytic, enjoy processing information, and you have a strong drive.

Furthermore, you must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience
  • A master’s degree in engineering or business administration
  • Experience with driving the sustainability agenda in a corporate setting
  • Strong commercial skills combined with a good technical understanding
  • Proven record of project management skills and ideally product management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Very strong written and verbal communication in English. Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian) and German is a plus, but not a must
  • A can-do attitude and mindset and good at getting things done
  • Leadership potential and a clear ambition to further grow and develop into management
