Reliable technology is vital in Container Centralen’s plans for growth and future service delivery and to further strengthen our team we are looking for a technically skilled and energetic person who can take on the responsibility of keeping our core solid and effective – as well as participate and advise on technology development. 

The position

With report to the ICT Operations manager, you will have a broad range of tasks and responsibilities. Your daily work will be with classical IT infrastructure, being responsible for the continuous development and operations of the systems and sourcing of services. You will be part of a team of 8 and you will participate, coordinate and follow up in daily operations. 

 
Container Centralen A/S has a modern ICT setup, and a roadmap to go with it. All systems are virtualized with high leves of contingency setups and the main systems run at hosting partners. We continuously put effort to optimize, simplify and refine the setup to support the company’s digital ambitions. 
Your role and primary responsibilities are to:   
 
  • Operational support for CC  
  • Define and maintain service levels for ICT services (internal and external) 
  • Responsible with team for operation, disaster recovery and backup of all ICT systems 
  • Head, follow up and report on infrastructure projects and recommend ICT purchases 
  • Recommend and implement installation and configuration of new hardware/software/phones/PDA’s to users/customers across Europe 
  • Create and maintain corporate standards for hardware/software/integration etc. 
  • Coordination and follow up on vendors 
  • Support Business growth through proactive role 
 
Your workplace will be at our ICT department, based in Odense. You should be prepared to travel 20-35 days yearly – primarily to our office in The Netherlands.

Your background

You have solid hands-on experience from infrastructure installations with network, servers, storage, virtualization, and general ICT components and your knowledge and practical effort will drive IT operations as well as the development of the system landscape strategy. 
 
You have a strong technical foundation with a relevant degree in computer science, engineering or similar, preferably supplemented with relevant courses and certifications. You have experience with managing infrastructure projects and 4-6 years of experience with corporate infrastructure. 
 
You are creative and curious with a good business understanding. We expect you to be a result oriented and self-starting professional with sound technical skills and a solution oriented approach towards your colleagues and customers. You take responsibility! 
 
You have the ability to commit to all levels of the organization. Your communication skills are excellent, you thrive in an international environment and is experienced in managing and creating long-term relationships with internal business stakeholders. Above all you have a strong and enthusiastic personality, are a team-player and a sociable person.  
 
You do not hesitate to use your knowledge and you are still eager to learn in order to broaden your responsibilities. 
 
You speak and write English and Danish fluently.
