The position

With a clear ambition to strengthen the NIVEA brand, you will be responsible for delivering targeted brand growth in line with the Nordic brand, portfolio and NPD strategy. Reporting to the Senior Brand & POS Manager, you will be the overall responsible for the NIVEA brand in the Danish market, covering the NIVEA, NIVEA MEN and NIVEA SUN portfolio.
Being the expert on local consumer insights, you transform the Nordic brand, portfolio and NPD strategy into winning strategies in the Danish market. You will develop and execute the local brand plans covering media strategy, digital media, and PR, and develop strong collaboration with Shopper Activation to drive full 360 campaigns to instore as well. Furthermore you will be responsible for successful NPD launches with a clear 360 plan by creating and executing local plans for brand activation. You will be fully responsible for the ATL budget and brand plans.
Your responsibility and tasks will include: 
  • Driving and developing the brand strategy in the local market
  • Driving the deployment of the local portfolio and brand strategy, media and pricing 
  • Recommending and deploying local best practice brand activation on various dimensions.
  • Conducting brand reviews to ensure performance is in line with targets
  • Conducting post-evaluation of activities to review promotional effectiveness
  • Engaging Sales and customers on all novelties in the brand
  • Defining the key communication framework including SoMe
  • Providing input to local pricing benchmarks , ensuring brand profitability
  • Defining locally needed re-pack/co-pack format 
  • Creating the RTS Brand Story Presentation to share with Sales/KAM 

Your background

You hold a relevant theoretical education at master level, and you have gained a few years of experience from a similar position or as junior brand manager within FMCG. Based on a solid understanding of consumer needs & behaviour, you are now ready to pursue your career in a global company with strong brands and products.

  • Ability to prioritize 
You are fluent in English – both oral and writing, and furthermore you are considered an MS Office expert, especially within Excel and Powerpoint. The position requires some travelling, primarily to Gothenburg.
