Creation of a new jewelery brand on the European market
Our client is a new established company with the rights to the European market for a new ambitious jewelery brand. The persons behind the new brand cooperates with internationally recognized designers.
A strong base with web shops, payment systems, access to production capacity, packaging, showcases and a group of brand ambassadors has been build. Now the company is ready to focus on getting the brand and products into the European markets.
As Sales & Brand Director you will be responsible for the sale and marketing of the company’s assortment in chosen European markets. The responsibility is for developing and carrying out a profitable sales and growth strategy in the markets, where the assortment is estimated to have the biggest potential. The company’s products must be build up as a brand and a strong customer loyalty must be established.
Your responsibility and tasks will also include:
- Budget responsibility
- Development and implementation of the sales strategy for Europe including an analysis of the individual markets’ potential and establishment of sales channels for the individual markets
- Creating agents-/partner networks including making presentations, conditions for agents/partners, negotiating partner contracts and follow-up on these
- Follow-up on partners and their satisfaction and identifying development point for the partnership
- Development and implementation of the brand strategy and the underlying activities
- Ensure a strong brand identity and strong communication
- Planning of fairs including making an exhibition stand
- Creation of an ambassador network with relevant women and bloggers of influence in the relevant markets
You have a solid base preferably with a higher commercial education with focus on international sale and marketing, possibly supplemented with education in management.
We expect that you have at least 3-5 years of experience with the responsibility of international sales of jewelery or fashion. You have been responsible for establishing and managing own markets with significant success. You are strong in marketing ad has experience in creating or developing brands. You have up to date knowledge about and experience in using relevant platforms including solid knowledge about SoMe.
You are a skilled business man and negotiator who can create productive partnerships. You have experience with different sales channels including sales through agents/partners and an ability to assess what is best for the individual markets.
You are an excellent management and a skilled communicator with the ability to express themselves in writing and speech and win acceptance for ideas and proposals.
You are an enthusiastic and dedicated person with true commitment with insight in fashion and trends and knowledge about the fashion and lifestyle business. You are ambitious with your goals and uncompromising in achieving them. You have strong analytical skills, structured working methods and focus on high quality. You are strategic thinking with the ability to focus on details, when necessary.
You are conversant with English and German.

About the company
Our client is a new established company owned by an experienced businessman, who has many years with successful international activities behind him. Based on thorough analytical work, the owner has decided to invest in the jewellery business. To begin with an existing jewellery brand and in the long term introduction of more concepts/brands.
The company is located in Jutland, but is open for the new Sales & Brand Director to have address somewhere else, since the position will require a good deal of travelling. The location of the company can be moved, if this is suitable in the long term.
